Construct pipeline, inlet/outlet, scour from under the reservoir tank to the delay tank and cut into the 1200 main line. The works included but not limited to the following:

• Supply Construct and install 1km MSCL pipeline
• Supply Construct and install Pipelines: MSCL DN 1350 DN 1200, DN 900, DN 750, DN 500, DN 375, DN 250, GRP, FRP and PVC
• Fabrication and welding On-Site, various size bends to suit MSCL pipeline
• Construct pipelines Over ground, Underground, and Elevated
• Construct tank underfloor inlet, outlet, and scour pipes
• Construct inlet, outlet, bypass, and scour Overflow riser pipes
• Construct thrust blocks of various sizes to suit support requirements
• Construct overflow chamber and other fitments, Collecting Pit, Valve pits
• Construct support bracket
• Construct access and platforms for valves
• Construct access road
• Installation of the DICL Y piece to the DN 1350 pipeline
• Install Butterfly valves, Actuated Flow Valves, Air Valves, Scour valves, Stop Vales, Tees, Reducers, Tapers Connectors, Hydrants and Fittings for DN 1000, DN900 DN 750 DN 500. DN 250
• Install Bellmouth including guide vane
• Install Flow meters: DN 1200 maxflow, 1300mm ultrasonic and to suit DN 250
• Construct Delay overflow tank; modifications
• Modification to existing pipework
• Construct Elevated pipe works
• Construct Overflow pipework tp the stormwater pit
• Completed crossovers, cut-ins; and connections - existing CWT to the New CWT, From the New Reservoir to the CTGM
• Completed cut in Y Pieces to the DN 1350
• Completed Cut -in for 3 X Flow meter and connection to the delay tank

Challenges and achievement

Applied various work methodologies for construction due to the diverse terrain from rolling hills to congested infrastructure and utilities work zones.

Fabrication of the Bend on site allowing progress to occur and precision.

Construction in various classification of soils form extreme hardness of rock in Dugong to sandy soils in Fisherman / Anna bay.

Construction in different environments from isolation (Dungog) to urban, residential areas (fisherman/Anna bay).

Distance between projects.

Resolving issues with a design on the run, successfully completing Cut-in and installation of the DICL Y piece to the DN 1350 during night works within restricted time limits, without disruption to network.

Successful planning, management, and achievement of completing the water mains connections crossover. No 3 major cut-ins of various sizes including the installation of Flowmeters simultaneously within restricted hours without any safety, environmental incidents, or disruption to the network.
