Twin pipeline (Water & Sewer) construction across Peats Ferry Bridge

The RMS Peats Ferry Bridge is a steel truss bridge that carries the Pacific Highway) across the Hawkesbury River, between Kangaroo Point and Mooney.

The twin pipelines Hawkesbury River crossing under the Peats Ferry Bridge with the approval of the RMS was required for upgrade of services to the Mooney Mooney Area.

Construct, Supply and install a new twin line, DICL DN200 water, DN150 sewer including support structure, brackets, spools, Transition pieces and associated flange fittings bends, Flow meters, valves across the Hawkesbury River using peat Ferry Bridge.

Flushing Testing.

Removed redundant pipeline lines.

Construct connections on both side of the Bridge.

Flushing, Testing. Pressure testing, Commissioning.

Challenges and achievement

Latent conditions.

Restrictive space and entry point for deliveries, and removal, y Material brought to site as needed for the Day. To achieve the works scaffolding was erected along the bridge, Working around unknown bridge structures.

Resolving issues or not having any safety or environmental issues.

Constructed without damage or interruption to existing services.
